Silverhill German Shepherds is located 9 miles south of 100 Mile House, British Columbia, Canada, (previously located in Mission, B.C. for 24 years). We have fourty gorgeous park like acres surrounded by crownland on three sides with our own private lake. Here I raise my dogs in a family environment, not just kennels. Each one has their time in the house with us and four dogs are permanent house dogs. The dogs are taken swimming in our own lake. We also take them hiking on crownland mountain trails which are directly outside our backdoor. I don't believe in having more dogs than one can properly care for and give each and every one of them the personal attention that they deserve. We only breed a couple of litters a year so that we can add that personal touch to the pups. If one has too many litters the pups do not get the attention that they need and deserve. Early socialization is so important and helps the pups adjust to later experiences in life that they have to face. To me the dogs and pups are pets first, show dogs second. We also have our Super Dogs featured on B.C. T.V. as well as Silverhill's Farraday who was the number one tracking dog for the RCMP (Sel. Ch. Silverhill's Fallon's TT ROMC OFA brother). | ![]() |

I believe in producing quality over quantity and have maintained the older style of the dog. I have three litters maximum a year. I have allways maintained that the dog does not have to stack extreme to have rear drive. I have german working lines as well as my top winning show lines. I strive to bring you the very best in health, hips, elbows, conformation and temperament. When I breed to someone elses male, I thoroughly research the pedigree for genetic problems prior to making a decision to breed to a dog. I don't just breed to a dog because it is winning but consider all genetic makeup of that dog. I do this to breed the best that I can and have an excellent track record todate. I have many veterinarian's recommending to purchase dogs and pups from me. |

I continue to love the looks, devotion and intelligence of this magnificent breed. For me there is no other. I have shown my dogs in obedience, all breed shows, specialty shows, nationals and sieger shows. It is a wonderful feeling taking the same dog into all three rings and winning each ring with that dog owner/breeder handled. One breed, one standard.
